About Role:
The Regional Lead will oversee one congressional district, managing a team of 4-6 team leads. They will travel within the district on a weekly basis, collaborating closely with team leads to ensure the fulfillment of daily, weekly, and monthly goals. The ideal candidate will have significant campaign experience, with direct experience managing staff and advocating for candidates or issue campaigns. This role requires understanding the implementation of strategic plans. This position reports directly to the Deputy Field Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

​Support drafting and implementing a comprehensive monthly/weekly/ daily plan emphasizing the ground canvassing while ensuring that all safety measures and current health safety guidelines are met.

Oversee implementation of core campaign strategies and tactics, including on-the-ground field canvassing, possibly phone banking, and support informing the Team Leads on field updates.

Serve as a liaison between the district team and the Deputy Field Director working closely with team leads to ensure the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly goals

Ensure that all data and results are tracked accurately within our internal systems.

Travel among counties within the district on a weekly basis to provide support and guidance to Team Leads and canvassers in executing goals and metrics.

Provide mentorship and coaching to team leads to enhance their performance and effectiveness.

Staff and attend events throughout the state to represent the organization and clients' goals.

Qualifications:

Required:
-
​Minimum 1-2 campaign or community organizing cycles (or 1-2 years) with staff management experience.
-
Proven ability in recruiting, training, and managing staff, including overseeing aspects of GOTV operations.

Collaborative team player with independent work capability.

Experience with mentoring and coaching campaign team staff to ensure alignment with organizational values and meeting performance goals.

Proficiency in technology, analytics, VAN databases, and Google/Excel Sheets.

Strength in data entry and metrics-driven planning and reporting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with diverse stakeholders.

Lead with cultural competency, fostering collaboration across diverse groups.

Experience collaborating with HR and Ops teams.

Access to transportation, laptop, internet, and mobile phone.

This role requires you to stand and walk for long periods of time in both indoor and outdoor settings including a variety of weather conditions (rainy, snow, hot and/or cold).

Must be able to travel at least 20% of the time for work (reliable transportation required)​
