About Role:
Victory Forward Strategies is seeking a dedicated and passionate HR Manager to focus on promoting equality and inclusivity in growing our team. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where all individuals feel valued and respected. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our mission and values. Additionally, you will oversee the recruitment team and training initiatives, ensuring that our hiring practices and employee development efforts reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

​Develop and Implement HR Strategies, Initiatives and Compliance: Design and execute HR strategies that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within the organization. Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and values.

Policy Development and Compliance: Create and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Implement practices that promote fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities for all employees.

Recruitment and Onboarding Oversight: Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Provide guidance and support to the recruitment team to ensure inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate pipelines. Develop onboarding programs that introduce new hires to our mission, culture, and values.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for employee development related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Coordinate training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and build skills for creating an inclusive workplace. Provide oversight and support to the training team to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR-related concerns, conflicts, and grievances. Foster a culture of open communication, respect, and collaboration among team members.

Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems that promote fairness and accountability. Provide guidance to managers on setting goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues in a constructive manner.

Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Ensure that benefits offerings are equitable and meet the diverse needs of our workforce.

Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of the organization. Partner with internal stakeholders to create opportunities for underrepresented groups and foster a culture of belonging.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, measure progress, and inform decision-making. Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics and present findings to leadership.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and legislative changes related to HR and diversity initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in HR processes and practices.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or 3+ years of related experience.

Proven experience as an HR professional, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Experience managing HR recruiters and trainers.

Knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.

Experience developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to promoting equality, inclusivity, and social justice.

Must be able to travel at least 20% of the time for work (reliable transportation required)

Preferred, but not required, you will also:

SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.

OR a related field (Master's degree preferred).
